Where I Stand
This office touches our everyday lives—from the accuracy of a gas pump to the cost and safety of the food on our tables. I'm running to make sure that system works the way it's supposed to—for all of us.
Processing & the "Missing Middle"
We grow it here, ship it out, and buy it back higher. That doesn't make sense.
Georgia lacks enough processing, storage, and distribution infrastructure.
That forces farmers to sell raw products and consumers to pay higher prices.
As Commissioner, I will:
- Build a Georgia Food Infrastructure Plan
- Compete for federal funding (RFSI, processing expansion)
- Expand cold storage and regional processing capacity
Keeping value in Georgia strengthens both farms and families.
"Let's keep Georgia-grown value in Georgia."
