Where I Stand
This office touches our everyday lives—from the accuracy of a gas pump to the cost and safety of the food on our tables. I'm running to make sure that system works the way it's supposed to—for all of us.
Hemp (Legal Agriculture)
If it's sold in Georgia, it should be safe, clearly labeled, and something we can trust.
Hemp is a legal crop in Georgia, but right now both farmers and consumers are dealing with confusion and inconsistency.
Farmers face compliance challenges, while consumers are left guessing about product safety and quality.
As Commissioner, I will:
- Strengthen testing, labeling, and safety enforcement
- Expand processing capacity and market access
- Provide compliance support for small and underserved farmers
This is about building a legitimate, stable market that works for everyone.
"Trust in the marketplace protects both the farmer and the consumer."
