This office touches our everyday lives—from the accuracy of a gas pump to the cost and safety of the food on our tables. I'm running to make sure that system works the way it's supposed to—for all of us.
Food Prices & Supply Chain
We're paying more while farmers are earning less. That's a broken system—and we can fix it.
Georgia produces incredible food—but too much of it leaves the state to be processed and comes back more expensive.
That gap drives up costs for consumers and limits earnings for farmers.
As Commissioner, I will:
- Invest in processing and cold-chain infrastructure
- Build regional food hubs
- Strengthen Georgia Grown connections from farm to shelf
Fixing the middle means lower costs, fresher food, and stronger local economies.
